10 YEARS OF IFA

The Institute of Forensic Auditors, the representative organization for forensic auditors in Belgium, has been operating for a decade now, so it is time to celebrate. In the 10 years that have passed since its foundation in 2001, the IFA has brought together individuals fighting fraud from both the private and public sectors, and it has endeavoured to provide the forensic audit discipline with a framework enabling further professionalization.

The following questions will therefore be key at this congress:

1. Where have we come from with forensic auditing and where are we going?
2. How do the various actors view forensic auditing and how do they see their role?
3. What are the major or new fraud phenomena we face, and how are we going to deal with them?

At the end of the National Anti-Fraud Congress, a short analysis will be rendered by Mr Carl Devlies, State Secretary for Coordination of the Fight against Fraud, and Mr Frank Staelens, IFA Chairman.

The congress will then be concluded with drinks and refreshments for all attendees.
